amarach youth group

Amárach is the Irish (Gaelic) word for "Tomorrow".  At Grace Cork we see our teenagers as the movers & shakers of tomorrow's church, but also very much part of today's church.

Amárach is for all those who attend secondary school from first year to sixth year (12 - 18). It is led by two local young Christians, Dillon Burke & Charleen Cuneen, who also have a vibrant team of other local young adult volunteers to help them run the meetings & activities.

Amárach meets every Friday Evening at 7.30pm in Deerpark. It alternates every week for either Follower Friday or Friendship Friday. "Follower" is a full on Christian Experience of Worship, Bible Study & Holy Spirit ministry. "Friendship" is a social & fun time with many activities and space to hang out together.

Amárach also meets every second Sunday morning when the sermon takes place in the main Service. This is a time for study, Holy Spirit prayer & discussion.

Three to four times a year Amárach goes away for a weekend, or in the Summer for a week, to Christian Youth Celebrations in Ireland or the UK. These are times of great blessing & spiritual growth as the young people catch a glimpse of what the Lord is doing nationwide & worldwide.

As a teenager or a parent you are very welcome to check us out at Amárach & ask any questions whatsoever. Come & be a part of what the Lord is doing among young people in Cork!
