Spring Baptisms

Next Sunday morning at 12.45 in the first classroom Tom will host our baptism study for all those who are passing through the waters the following week. The study will be short and will include a Q&A session for those who are interested. We are encouraging any who are considering being baptised to attend also and even if you are just curious and would like know a little more about this rite of passage for the committed Christian you are most welcome.

The baptisms themselves will take place the following Sunday May 24th at Deerpark itself, also taking place just after our meetings finish. We will be introducing those who are taking this step of faith and obedience to the congregation before we do the dipping!

Flourish... Connecting women

Calling all women at Grace and beyond! Flourish is an event inspired by the Holy Spirit to bless women at Grace Christian Fellowship and throughout Cork. It's all about women coming together to bring glory to their King, the Lord Jesus Christ providing the opportunity to fellowship and connect with one another. This meeting will also offer a chance to invite your friends from the wider church or friends and colleagues who haven't yet met and fallen in love with the Prince of Peace.

You're most welcome to join us. Enjoy a light breakfast. Get your nails done.. Spend time in worship. Hear an inspiring message, fellowship and connect with other women. The event takes place on Saturday May 16th from 10.30am till 1pm at the Ardfallen Methodist Centre on the main Douglas road. Tickets are available at €10 each and can be bought from the 19th of April and each Sunday thereafter at the lobby in Deerpark. For more information you can call Grace on 087-222-8474.

The Double Blessing cometh

Its now official! Grace will be moving to Double services on June 7th! On that morning and going forward the Grace congregation of attending an early service at 10.00am or the later service at 12.00am or you can attend both if you wish! Both meetings will run for and hour and a half with a break of 30mins in between to allow the early to leave and the later to arrive. It may be a bit ropy at times brothers and sisters and we are asking that you be graceful with us and with one another as we iron out the wrinkles over the first few weeks.

We are advising those who are intending to come to the early service that should you wish to make a quick departure after the meeting, you would park outside on the street or in Deerpark estate just 100mtrs up the road this would be a help to you and to us in managing our traffic flow. We thank God for this best of all problems, the church is continuing to grow and has most assuredly grown beyond the wildest dreams of its founding members. Thank you Lord, continue to bless our endeavours we pray! We will bring you more information, pointers etc. Closer to the launch date.
