4. At next set of traffic lights turn left onto St. Patrick's Road (right turn is for city centre).
5. St. Patrick's Road veers right for 1 minute, Deerpark CBS on right.
Walking Directions From UNIVERSITY COLLEGE Cork
1.From the main historic gates of UCC on Western Road head in for city
centre along Western Road.
2. As Western Road merges into Washington Street continue on until you come
to the second full crossroads with traffic lights.
This is the Washington St./South Main St.junction, after the traffic lights
junction by the city courthouse, but before you come to the Capital Cinema
Junction just down the street. There is a telephone shop at this junction.
3. Turn right at this junction onto South Main Street & walk up the
street.(passing the back of the city park on your left)
Go over the bridge at the end of South Main Street and continue
straight up Barrack Street Hill for 1 minute.
4. Turn left just as hill starts to get very steep at Chinese Take Away "Yangstze River"
5. Continue straight on up this street and you come to a 5 street
crossroads junction. Go straight on, which means going up the hill and veering
somewhat to the right.
6. Continue on for about 7 or 8 minutes until you come to the first set of traffic lights at a crossroads.
7. Turn left at lights and Deerpark School is just on the left. Our church sign
and church car park volunteer will be at the gate 30 minutes before each meeting.
The walk from UCC to Deerpark should not take longer than 30 minutes,
and when you know the way it should only take 20 minutes or less.
